Summer in Stumm im Zillertal
"Badewelt Stumm", our newly constructed outdoor adventure pool, which features a big pool for the little kids, a giant slide and a natural swimming lake, invites all visitors to take the plunge and cool off on those hot summer's days. Close by you will find the Stumm tennis center, along with a beach-volleyball court and a basketball court. Our guests also find in Stumm the only driving range in the Zillertal, a great spot for those of you who love to chase little white balls around to work on your game!
With the Zillertal Activcard, you can actively enjoy the Zillertal. Especially for families, this card offers great discounts on the Zillertal railway, the various gondola lifts throughout the valley, and at all outdoor swimming pools.
Around 1,000 km of hiking routes and 800 km of mountain bike trails, ranging in elevation from 500 to 2300 meters above sea level, invite you to explore our beautiful countryside. In Zillertal, you will find everything guaranteed to set the pulses of mountain and nature fans racing in anticipation: clean air, lush alpine meadows, crystal-clear springs, rushing streams, and breathtaking views of 55 3,000-meter peaks.

Continuous operation until 9 October 2011 and, if the weather holds, extended until 16 October 2011. The area surrounding the Spieljoch is "Hike-able, climb-able, paradisiacal and delightful". From the mountain terminal of the Spieljoch lift you have the opportunity to set out on many different hikes. One unique feature of the Spieljoch is the FIRST Zillertal Barefoot Summit Path. Close to the mountain terminal is a climbing center for families and kids, where certified mountain guides offer climbing classes for anyone who is interested. And for paragliders, there is also a launch and landing area also available. Additional information can be found online at www.spieljoch.at.
