Along this route, you will conquer 31 km and only 145 vertical meters. This bike path is surprisingly flat for an Alpine valley but very diverse and family-friendly. The Schlitterersee, with playgrounds and rest areas, invites you to take a break, and the inn offers delicious regional and international cuisine.

  • Length / vertical meters: 31 km / 145 vm

The last stretch through alpine meadows is a real feast for the eyes. The Kapaunsalm is not staffed, so bring a snack along with you in your backpack.

Zillertaler Höhenstraße

The ultimate route among the Zillertal mountain bike tours including climbs with a 12-16% gradient is a challenge that demands strength and endurance. There are many different access points along this road. Undeniably the most beautiful is when you access the road from the north and head south so that you have a constant view of the main ridge of the Zillertal Alps

With an total length of almost 53 km, 3690 vertical meters, and a destination at an elevation of 2035 m on the Melchboden, this is a tour for tough mountain bikers. The path is completely paved so there are no technical challenges, but you should be very cautious when biking downhill, because many parts lead through the forest at a steep gradient and there is always a risk of slipping. This is a tour for very fit bikers, who want to enjoy wonderful views.
